Recurring cleaning works best when it's paired with a few small habits in between. None of these take more than a couple of minutes, and together they're the difference between a home that feels clean until the next visit and one that starts slipping after three days.
Wipe the kitchen sink and counters every night. Grease and crumbs are what make a kitchen feel dirty, and both are effortless to remove when they're fresh and stubborn when they're not. A thirty-second wipe after dinner keeps the whole room looking cared for.
Squeegee or towel-dry the shower after use. Colorado's hard water leaves mineral spots on glass and tile faster than almost anywhere, and those spots are the main reason bathrooms need heavy scrubbing. Drying the glass prevents most of it.
Keep a shoes-off rule at the door, or at least a good mat. Most of the grit on Front Range floors is tracked in, and stopping it at the entry means floors stay cleaner between vacuuming and mopping.
Do a five-minute evening reset: dishes in the dishwasher, mail sorted, things back where they live. Clutter makes a clean home look messy, and tidying up before bed is much easier than facing it in the morning. When our team arrives, a tidy home also means more of the visit goes into actual cleaning.
Finally, run the exhaust fans. Bathroom and kitchen fans pull out moisture and cooking residue that otherwise settle on surfaces and feed mildew. Leave them running for fifteen minutes after showering or cooking and the whole house stays fresher.
